Maxxis Minion DHR2 DD 29x2.40 Tire

The DHR II tire features side knobs inspired by the renowned Minion DHF, but with a wider design for enhanced support and improved cornering ability. Its center tread has ramped edges for better acceleration and sipes for smooth bike leaning. The paddle-shaped knobs on the center dig in during hard braking, providing better control. For the ultimate aggressive trail riding experience, match it with a Minion DHF tire on the front.

This version features the 3C MaxxTerra technology, a triple compound used in mountain tires that offers high traction and low rolling resistance for trail riding. Combined with the Double Down (DD) casing, it makes for great traction and trail feel.

This tire also features the Wide Trail (WT) option, which optimizes tire tread layout and profile on modern, wider rims. Tires with WT work best on 35mm inner rim width, but also perform well on rims from 30-35mm.
